Family Fun Weekend

Boy am I exhausted! We left Saturday morning about 7:30 and headed to Lincoln. Abby was pretty crabby at first so we had to shake the crabbies off since crabbiness is not allowed for Family Fun weekend! We headed to the Children's Museum first. We had a blast there. Then we went to lunch and stopped and picked up some things for the hotel. Then headed to the hotel. It was so nice! It was a bunch of little cottages. So it was really private and we had a full kitchen, livingroom and bedroom. We went swimming for awhile. Abby has gotten so good! She starts swimming lessons next week and I think that will really be beneficial. Then we went to the mall and did some shopping and ate dinner.

Sunday we went to Pioneer Park and Chuck E Cheese. Abby has been wanting to go to CEC for so long! We played games for about 2 hours! We went back and swam for about 3 hours and then went out and about again. We took her to the capital building and showed her the Husker stadium.

Today we came home through Omaha and stopped at a few stores there. But we are finally home and another Family fun weekend has gone by. We really need to continue doing these. Abby's attitude will hopefully get over this sassy phase so it will be easier on Mom and Dad! UGH! She will stay home with Dad the next couple days and he plans on taking her fishing one day.

Soccer 07

Well we finished up with soccer and she wants to play in the fall!

Onto the 1st grade!

I can't believe Abby is done with kindergarten! What happened to my little baby? I just can't get over how fast this is going.

We had our last soccer game Saturday. Leave it to my daughter to wait until the end of the season to get out there and play. She had a makeup game Thursday evening and she actually got out there and and went after the ball. She skipped more than ran but she was out there! WOO HOO! Saturday she did really well also. I will post some pics.

Then Saturday afternoon we went to see Shrek 3. It was pretty good. Not as good as the first 2 but it was still pretty good. Today we went out and about and went to the old railroad bridge on the cowboy trail. I have been trying to take some scenery pics to put in the frame John gave me. I was orginally going to put black and white pics in it but now I am leaning toward to color pics. I just can't decide. I will post some of the scenery pics I am debating on.

Ok I love to take pictures as you can tell but I am horrible at sitting down and scrapbooking. So I would like to start digital scrapbooking. I just worked on my first page. What do you think?

Catching up!

Boy do I have some catching up to do!! Our computer has been on the fritz! UGH! We ordered a new one and it arrived Friday. So now I will try to catch up.

Abby has graduated from Daisy girl scouts. They had a bridging ceremony so in the fall she will be a brownie. She has really liked girl scouts so I think we will keep her in it. Brownies meet during the week though. I liked that Daisies met on Saturdays, it gave her something to do on the weekends during the winter months. Then the following Saturday all the local Daisy girl scouts had a Teddy Bear tea party. It was so cute!!! This will definatly be a birthday party idea! They all made necklaces and hats out of paperplates. They learned how to set a table properly and all about table manners. The girls had a blast!! I will post some pics, of course!

Otherwise life is as hectic as always. Yesterday we went to Sydney's for Weston's 1st birthday party. I can't believe he is 1 already and that there will be another one in a couple months! She will definatly have her hands full!
