Family Fun Day!

We had so much fun! We arrived to Council Bluffs and ate lunch and played in the game room(this game room sucked!) Then we found our hotel and went to the Mid America Center. We arrived and Abby still thought we were meeting a friend. We blow in(wind was 35mph+). We get in and there is this huge Clifford gift shop set up. We bought Abby a t-shirt and a Clifford flash light and she still has not figured it out. I don't think she will follow in Daddy's footsteps as an investigator! LOL We then tell her we were going to go in and see our friend. We walk in and she reads the curtain. She looks at us and we tell her she is going to see Clifford live. She was so excited! She loved the show. It was actually pretty good. John and I really enjoyed it. After the show we checked into the hotel and she gave us big hugs thanking us for taking her to Clifford. She said it was a great suprise. We then swam for 4 hours! She has gotten so good! She was jumping in the deep end to Daddy and going completely under water! We were so impressed. She would swim the entire length of the pool with the floaties on. WOW!
Then Sunday morning all hell broke loose! She wakes up in the hotel bed vomiting! UGH! We get her cleaned up and quickly pack up. She vomits several times on the way home. We get home and she sleeps most of the day. But Sunday evening it has hit me and by Sunday night it hits John! So we all stayed home today feeling horrible. John is still vomiting but it has been awhile since Abby and I have. Hopefully this ends fast!

I hate winter!

Ok I know we have lucked out so far with this only being our 2nd snow storm but yuck! We got another 5 inches last night. It better not do this next weekend! We made our hotel reservations. Abby is so excited to have family fun day. I can't imagine how much more excited she would be if she knew we were going to see Clifford! She is actually running around in her new swimsuit because she "gets used to it" before next weekend. LOL Yes running around in a swimsuit while we are having a snow storm! Only in Nebraska! LOL!

Ok I still suck at this!

I just can't seem to find time to do anything!
Abby's surgery went well. She did better than we thought. But let me tell ya the girl under anastheia is hilarious! The questions were just rolling! "Why is there green in a rainbow and not another color?" "What did they do with my tonsils? Do they give them to another child?" They just kept coming. LOL The nurses got a big kick out of her freaking out before surgery when she found out she had to wear a little hospital gown and the back is opened for all to see her panties that did NOT match her gown! Major NO NO with her!

Otherwise we have been dealing with snow, brutally cold weather and can I tell you how much I hate winter!

We got tickets to go to see Clifford live next weekend. Abby will be so excited. We haven't told her and don't plan on telling her until we get to the show. She loves Clifford. Her and Daddy watch it every morning before kindergarten. She loves the Puppy Days theme song because it is "just like me!" "Love makes little things grow!" LOL But if her attitude doesn't change soon she will be lucky if she can leave the house before she is 30! She is driving me insane!

Well I need to put yet another load of laundry in. Does laundry ever end?
