A LITTLE BETTER 2ND TIME AROUND

Nothing like a little bribery! LOL! John promised Abby, ice cream cone, a trip to dollar tree and the arcade if she played soccer at her game. She actually went out there for 2 quarters! She kept her hands in her pockets most of the time but at least she was out there! She even admitted she liked it afterwards! So hopefully we get better each game. I will post some pics..

Otherwise life is so hectic right now. Today we had to go to my grandparents 80th birthday party. They both turn 80 3 weeks apart. So we through a huge open house for them. There was several hundred people that showed up! Happy Birthday Papa and Gramma!!!

Official Soccer Mom --or not?!

Saturday was our first soccer game. Abby was all excited about it and loves her new soccer shoes with pink stripes. They also help her run really fast! LOL! So we think all will be fine. We get there and she is the only girl on the team! So she pulls her shy attitude and refuses to play. We get her out there for a couple minutes and we got her to get her pictures taken but that was about it. She just clung to us. I am so tired of this behavior! So we have had a talk with her and she says she will do better next week. We hope! There was only one girl on the opposing team but according to Abby she is huge! There was one other little boy who was being shy also and would not play so at least we weren't alone. So here are a few pictures of the short time she was out there....

WHAT ELSE?!?!

Monday we spent the day in Omaha at the surgery center waiting for John to get out of surgery and recovery. It was a long day but Abby did much better than I expected. She was a little unbearable by the time we got home at 7pm but she was getting pretty tired. She finally fell asleep on me about 8:30. So I think woo hoo! WRONG! I get John taken care of and head to bed and at 12:30 Abby wakes up and has puked all over everything! UGH! So I get her cleaned up and take her downstairs with me so John can rest. She is up several more times during the night. So I stay home from work and she stays home from school. But by 9am I think she could have went to school. She is driving me crazy. She seems to be feeling better. She says her tummy hurts a little and her throat hurts--from throwing up I am sure. But other than that she seems fine. But we keep her home. I am exhausted!

Ok I forgot to posts Abby's conversation with Daddy about cleaning her room Saturday morning....

Dad: "Abby you need to clean your room"
Abby: "Can you help me?"
Dad: "No, I didn't make the mess"
Abby: "No, but you bought me the toys!"

LOL!
Dad: "Well I don't think we will be buying anymore!"

Abby: "Humph..."(in her whiny tone as she walks off defeated to her room) LOL

Crazy Life!

I am so sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Life seems to be so crazy at the moment. Work is insane! Wednesday I had to fly to Emporia KS, spend 2 hours and hop back on the plane and fly to Greeley CO. TG for the companies private jet! I put in nearly 60 hours this week alone! The overtime on the check will be nice but I am beat! Abby has also suffered from not much Mommy time so today we had some girly time. We went and had our nails done. She loves getting hers done. We ran into one of John's coworkers who is pretty prissy and has a daughter Abby's age and was so shocked Abby loved getting her nails done. They turned out great. We then did some shopping.
Our weather has been so cold lately it doesn't even feel like Easter!

I will try doing better and hopefully post some Easter pics after tomorrow.
