Of course St. Pat's is pretty big in our family. So Saturday we went to O'Neill for the big St. Pat's celebration. It was the best in years for the temps. We usually freeze while watching the parade. But it wasn't too bad this year. After the parade we went to the children's carnival and then out to eat. It was a lot of fun. I will post some pics....

This was actually a pretty good weekend! It was a very busy and hectic work week so it was very nice to have a good weekend! The weather has been beautiful, FINALLY! We were actually in the 60's today and they are talking 70's tomorrow! WOO HOO! Next Saturday is the big St. Pat's weekend and so far they are showing temps in the 60's.
Ok John took Friday off and actually got all the laundry caught up. Friday evening we vacuumed and picked up. Saturday morning we were on the road by 7:30am to Lincoln to get my new vehicle!! WOO HOO! I love it! We were driving home and it was so peaceful! Abby had the wireless headphones on listening to her movie in the dvd player. We actually got to listen to the radio instead of her movie! This is also the first vehicle I have gotten with the onstar. It seems pretty cool. We will have to decide if we want to keep it after our first year. After getting the van we went and had lunch and then to the mall. We got Abby a new spring jacket. Still no luck on finding the black soccer shorts in her size. I see Old Navy has some so I may just have to order them.
Today we just hung out. I got the Onstar set up and then we went to the park to play. I am so glad spring looks like it has arrived!!
Here are a couple pics from the last couple weeks...

I hate winter!
Ok I am sure most of you have heard me say how much I despise winter! But this week has put me over the edge! The only good thing was at least we didn't have the -50 degree windchills! But the snow came along with wind, and not just wind 60mph gusts! So we ended up with white out conditions! Luckily our snowfall wasn't nearly as bad as 50 miles from us in every direction. We were in some sort of pocket. But here are some pics....
my sisters..
My parents...
This had better be the last storm! I have had enough!
